Today’s life is so critical for teenagers. The changing environment of the nature and the world get the teen so trouble for their daily living routine. The teen are facing many problems like drug abuse, depression, alcohol abuse, teenage pregnancy, ADD/ADHD, suicide, sexuality, violence, abuse, eating disorder, stress and learning disabilities. These problems lead them failing in parent relationship, home work, school and their friendship. Due to these problems they need help. To cope with that problem there are many help for troubled teen that are: special school, treatment center, behavioral program, attitude adjustment program, improved motivation program, boot camps and teen maternity program.

When a teen have a problem of pregnancy the parent don’t need to show their anxiety. They have to feel their daughter that the incident was not her fault. It makes to feel her that you are not an enemy. You can suggest her for treatment and useful medication. This gets her so relief from the curse of teenage pregnancy.

When the teen uses to run away from home then you should try to teach him that living on street make them ill and you will face many problems for food and living. Living on street has no future plain and simple. This makes your teenagers to feel not to run away from home.

If the teen is using drugs he may cause lung cancer or may die soon. The parents try to let their teen to medical check up and treatment. The drug rehabilitation also helps for removing the habit of drug use. The parents try to let away their teen from drug use and for that they always make a better communication to their teen.

The teen that are depressed and try to suicide may get relief from boot camps and summer camps. The parents have to teach their teen that life is hard and being sad sometimes is perfectly normal, but depression can destroy their life. The problem of eating disorder starts due to a thinking of being overweight or from the busy schedule of their life. Some teens are also less interested towards their meal. Some of the reasons for eating disorder are some diseases that are bulimia, anorexia and over eating. The parent should try to get them nutrias and oil less food which is good for their physical health.

The teens with disabilities are helped by residential summer camps. Residential summer camp help the teenagers who are 'at-risk' with a variety of special medical needs, economic hardship and/or emotional, developmental or physical disabilities.

Some of the teens are abused as emotional abuse, physical abuse and sexual abuse. The teens are constantly putting down by saying stupid, worthless or easy. The residential homes or school may help them for facing from these problems.

Is there any help for my troubled teen? Yes, absolutely. However, please understand that Jesus is the only answer! First of all, if you are parents of a troubled youth you are not alone. There are many good Christian parents just like you who are struggling with a "troubled teen". The notion that this type of thing does not happen to Christian families is a fallacy. Not too long ago, all troubled teens were kids from poor families, broken families, and from parents of drug addicts and criminals. Not anymore. Troubled teens now come from every family. Troubled teens are an epidemic in America today. Why? Because the breakdown of societal norms and values. Every minute your child spends in the world he/she is being doctrinated into a value system that is opposed to Christianity. It used to be that the US was a Christian-country, operating in Christ-centered values. But no more! The United States has been under assault from "moral relativism" for quite some time and we are losing the battle.. Along with the mainstream acceptance of "progressive values" (abortion, homosexuality, etc.) came the expansion of depravity. The truth is that, as a nation we are no longer shocked by what the liberal left deems "appropriate". What was once "disgusting" and "immoral" is now highlighted nightly on our television screen and accepted as being "normal".

Additionally, the US in all of its prosperity has become a nation of the entitled. Our government has taken down the Ten Commandments and replaced them with the ten entitlements. The government spends more then it can ever pay for, all in the name of prosperity and service to the disadvantage. We have become a litigious nation, suing anyone at any time for any reason.. Our values have been turned upside down. Even though you, the visitor, operate under values that are aligned with the teachings of Jesus Christ, your child is living in a society where Christian values are retarded. Your son or daughter who decides to follow Christ immediately is ostracized, criticized, and persecuted. It is tough being a Christian teen today in America .

Abundant Life Academy does not serve teens with oppositional defiance disorder, or students who are in need of therapeutic treatment.  Abundant Life Academy does not serve students who have a history of violence, or other similar type behavior.  Basically, the Abundant Life Academy student is a good kid from a good family, yet is emotionally immature and in need of structure and adult mentorship.
