Troubled Teens
Things Teens Need to Succeed
Reality:
Today's Teens are given more while having to do less
to earn it than any previous generation. Instead of
being appreciative of this generosity, many teens
begin feeling an entitlement. Teens often feel they
are entitled to current privileges and comforts without
any effort on their part. This is far from reality.
Many teens often struggle in school because they lack
reality that they are responsible in doing their school
work. So they develop poor study habits and lack personal
commitment. Specialty schools fix this problem by
holding each student accountable for their school
work. This quickly helps the student realize that
they need good study habits to get good grades. This
helps prepare students for college and life.
Participants in our programs experience a lifestyle
that reflects what it would be like for them if they
did not have what their parents, or others have provided
for them.

Respect:
Specialty Schools are designed to teach respect. This
includes respect for others, property, self, authority
figures, and more important; respect for rules and
expectations. Our programs offers a military-type
regimentation including a strong set of rules with
high expectations and follow through. Failure to follow
rules or commands will bring immediate consequences.
Participants quickly develop a solemn respect for
rules, orders, and authority figures. Through this
process, participants develop a new-found respect
for themselves and others.

Responsibility:
Specialty Schools are geared for personal responsibility
as a critical character trait that must be internalized
in order for any individual to achieve success in
society. Every aspect of the program focuses on participants
becoming responsible. Respectively, participants are
also held responsible for their attitudes, behaviors
and actions.
Once participants demonstrate the ability to be appropriately
responsible for their selves, they become eligible
to participate in the Leadership Program. This effective
training program requires participants who qualify
to take responsibility for others as well as themselves.
